Learning Objectives.

1. Review MRS C GREN with respect to plants
2. Be able to use a microscope appropriately and effectively.
3. Make a comparison of the cells of plants and animals
4. Understand basic plant structure and function
5. Understand the process of photosynthesis, including being able to test a leaf for starch.
6. Summarize the process of photosynthesis using the equation:
    

   	light
   water + carbon dioxide	------------------>	glucose + oxygen
   	chlorophyll
