The Principal's open door policy provides a positive, forthcoming atmosphere, adding to the community environment. Overall Hamilton's Fraser High School is a small community-like school which offers opportunities and fulfils the needs of everyone.
Rachel Boyes - Year 13 (Ex: Maeroa Intermediate)
The thing that I like about Fraser is the atmosphere created by students and teachers working together to further the pupils' education. Also I like that Fraser offers sporting, cultural and academic, extra-curricular activities. It offers something for every student.
Arya Malek - Year 13 (Ex: Maeroa Intermediate)
Fraser High gives students the opportunity to develop strengths by giving them the support and tools to enable them to grow. Students begin at year 9 with ideas and dreams of where their future lies. The tight community at Fraser helps them to fulfil these, and along the way they are supported in whatever path they choose to follow. My time at Fraser has been an unforgettable experience which will continue to help me in future years.

I think that Fraser is an amazing school on so many levels. First of all there are
many kind and friendly staff who help students in all sorts of ways, whether it is from achieving highly in academics or being excellent role models in sports and leadership. Fraser consist of many students who come from all over the world and so it is a multi-ethnic school.
All students get along well and tend to be interested in each other's cultures. At Fraser we have a safe environment and this is largely due to our senior students. They take up jobs and responsibilities to look after our younger students. They do this by SAFE, LIFE, SADD Committee, Peer Mentoring, Peer Tutoring and Peer Support. All of these groups help to show the juniors how safe, friendly and helpful a place Fraser really is. These committees and programmes are the foundation of the safe society here at Fraser.
Among all the sports teams here at Fraser is strong leadership as well. We are a
very organised school and one of our philosophies is for senior students to lead the way for the younger students by being positive role models. This is why l think that Fraser is not just a great friendly school, but a safe environment where students can get an education with no stress or worries.
Ferris Leilua - Year 13 (Ex: Crawshaw School)
I started Fraser in my Year 10 year after moving here from Niue. At first, I
experienced a bit of a culture shock because of the size of the school but after I got to
know the place better I made a lot of friends and the school does not seem as big as I first thought it was. Along my joumey I have achieved many things such as representing Pacific Island students at school and being the Captain of Fraser's 1st XV team to name a few.
I couldn't have done this without the great support and help from the staff and students at Fraser. I am indeed fortunate to attend this school.
Ili Chapman - Year 12 (Ex: Niue High School)

Fraser is like a small community, which gives everyone a chance to shine. Each person has something to contribute, and Fraser allows each person to give their own contribution to the school. I have enjoyed my time at Fraser, and feel that I have been given countless opportunities within the school to further both my schooling and community involvement. Fraser has become part of me, and will be part of me for many years to come.
Mary Carswell - Year 13 (Ex: Ngahinapouri School)
Hamilton's Fraser High School is an awesome and great school. It is very big and has enough facilities to provide a good environment for me to study. Fraser is very different from the school that I studied at in Hong Kong, especially size, people, and subjects. All the students and teachers are very nice. If I have some questions I can ask them and they always help me until my question is solved!
