ESOL (English for Speakers of Other languages) Programmes

Hamilton's Fraser High School warmly welcomes and embraces students who are from different countries. Our school offers:

• A friendly multi cultural school

• An International Student Centre

• Individual guidance and support for International Students

• English language teaching and mainstream academic subject support.

International Students are able to receive English language and pastoral support at Hamilton's Fraser High School. This takes place at the International Centre, a purposebuilt facility with three large classrooms, two offices and a kitchen. It is the hub of essential services for students who have English as a second language.

ESOL is taught by qualified and experienced teachers, who fully support students as they adjust to the academic requirements of their mainstream subjects. Classes cater for the needs of all International Students, from Year 9 to Year 13.

All international Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the full corporate life of the school.
