Support Centre
We have a very strong Support Centre for students who have special needs. The students are funded through the Ongoing Reviewable Resourcing Scheme (ORRS), High Health and ACC schemes. Individual Education Programmes are in place to meet the needs of each student and teacher aide support is given to assist in the learning process in the mainstream classes. Parents and caregivers, and mainstream teachers are involved in the planning and evaluation process for each student.
Our philosophy is built on the principle of inclusion and the empathetic bond between the students, staff, home, Group Special Education, and many other professional and community organisations.
