HFHS has its own purpose built Health Centre which is a one-stop shop to meet the physical and psychological health needs of Fraser students. Very few schools in New Zealand are equipped with such a comprehensive adolescent health centre.
The HFHS Health Centre is run effectively and efficiently by qualified, experienced and professional staff.

2 Doctors Tuesday and Thursday mornings
Physiotherapist Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings
Drug & Alcohol Counsellor Wednesdays
Psychologist for ACC related work Fridays
Our Centre is also used as a training base for trainee counselors, nurses and psychologists.
As well as the above services our Health Centre also organises :
- 40 Hour Famine
- Anti-bullying Programmes : SAFE & LIFE
- SADD (Students Against Driving Drunk)
- Project K
CHARGES:
All of the services provided by the Health Centre are free.
APPOINTMENTS:
Students and/or parents can make appointments through Shelley Watene for any of the above services. Parents are welcome to meet or talk to any of the above staff.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The majority of the above staff work under a Code of Ethics that includes confidentiality and the necessity to undergo regular supervision and on-going training.
